MUMBAI (Reuters) - Record high gold prices in India have triggered a surge in recycling of the precious metal as consumers rush to cash in on their holdings, while imports have almost ground to a halt, traders and dealers said on Wednesday.

Gold on the Multi Commodity Exchange of India Ltd (MCX) hit a fresh high at 15,617 rupees ($313.6) per 10 grams, extending the previous day's gains on firm overseas markets and a weaker rupee against the dollar.

"There are lots of sellers... This time big lots are coming of 200-300 grams per person," said Jitendra Kantilal Jain, partner at Mumbai's Jugraj Kantilal & Co, which buys scrap gold for refining and repackaging as bars.

In the spot market, banks, the primary sellers of imported gold, quoted even higher, with Scotia Mocatta quoting at 15,700 rupees per 10 grams as it has to peg local prices to the foreign market.

The rupee's exchange rate impacts gold prices as most of the metal is imported in India and paid for in dollars.

’’Amway is actually a worldwide mafia with license to cheat.’’

Amway is nothing but a deadly cheater in disguise.

You can bust their hype by just finding the fact about the lifestyle
or status of the so-called "Diamonds". For those who may not be
knowing,"Diamonds" are those people in Amway business model
who are earning a quite good amount of money without much effort.
Just check which vehicle they use, or what kind of house they live in.
The reality will shock you. Don’t go with what you find in the meetings.
Its all set up and staged. You may find them poorer than your office peon.
They get paid for every stage performance.

The only people who earn big money in Amway are the founders and Amway
employees (not members or distributors). The people in the photos of
free tour abroad or with Yacht and all, are all fake.

As for the members and distributors, I have seen them running on road in burning
sunlight or on a rainy night, to meet more and more people to explain
them about an opportunity which will "change their life forever". Is
this a part time job? No its not. Is this a job with max comfort?
Bullshit. I better take home a decent salary and other social rewards
by working in an AC office.

In short - there is not shortcut to big money by fair means. Amway is one rare
desease, which if infected with, destroys you completely and sometimes beyond recovery. So better safe than be sorry. Amway distributors (you) are their temporary employess with minimum salary (most of the time free) and max
productivity.

Ask yourself ask you one thing before joining Amway.
Which one of the following will you choose?

1. A business where you have to work extremely hard, more than
12 hours a day, and think about it round the clock (so much so
that you start losing your sleep and mind)? The reward is remote
possibility of earning a decent income, which is never and nowhere
close to any financial freedom. But one thing for sure, you are going
to lose your family and friends. And all this is fact which is never
told in the meeting of Amway.

2. An eight hour a day job with a regular pay check, guaranteed growth
every year and with all the peace of mind. And yes without running
from door to door, and person to person requesting them to join Amway.


Even if you are not interested in a regular job, there are plenty of normal
business opportunities around.

If you want to earn big money, try setting up your own business (and
not Amway one). Believe me, with a much less effort and time, you can
reap far better and higher rewards.

My purpose of joining Amway was to find the reality, after many of
my friends became victimof them. And the purpose of writing this review
is to just put a word of caution before people who may be thinking of joining
Amway but are doing a reality check. If even one person drops the idea of joining
Amway after reading this review, I would consider my effort and money
investment in Amway successful. It will be no less than a reward to me.

The only reason Amway continues to survive is because it goes after
generations with a gap in their business marketing cycle. In nineties,
they had a boom in India, and it got saturated. Amway went silent for
few years after that, and then with the IT boom
they got another golden opportunity which they are encashing. With so
much of disposable income, Rs 5000 is nothing for an IT engineer,
especially when it promises to give financial freedom. I bet Amway will
run away again by the end of this decade. I also know people who have
given their heart and soul (other than 24x7
time, money and energy) to Amway. They used to the Amway lingo (refer
to few amway supporting comments to this review, by Amway people and
thier poor hipnotized victims). And now they are back to real life.
These people will be declared as losers and dumbs, as I explained in
the "King and clever tailor" story below. But the fact
is, these people are smart and those who stick with Amway are the
actual dumbs. Please the story below.

Let me tell a you a story about a clever tailor who fooled a king and its senators. I will keep it short. Once upon a time, there was this king who ordered a tailor to sew a beautiful gown for him. The king warned him that if the gown is not beautiful, he will be killed. After much thought, the tailor got an idea. On the final day, he went to the King and just acted that he is holding a gown. When asked by King, he told that he is holding the gown. But its a special and magical one. Only the wise people can see the dress and its beauty. Then the tailor asked the King if he can’t see the dress. The king obviously didn’t wanted to be called a fool, and said that he could see the dress and it indeed was very beautiful. Then he asked his senators what they thought about the dress. Ofcourse none of them wanted to be declared fool, and hence they all praised the dress. And then the King paraded in his invisible dress in public, before a kid cried and pointed out - "Look, the king is naked". End of the story.

The "clever tailor" in this story is "Amway". The invisible dress, which in reality is not there at all, is the money that Amway promises to be there and only smart ones can get it. The King, the senators and all those people who agreed with the tailor are those people who are mindwashed by Amway. Amway says that there is money with it, and the mindwashed people agree, else they will be declared dumb, lazy etc. And there are clever people who refuse to accept its existence and either don’t join Amway or quit it as soon as possible.

This is one of the thing that happens in Amway training. There are people who are fake and claim to be making big money in no time with Amway. There are training materials like books, CDs, meeting and seminars which repeat the same thing again and again, based on the simple but true principle that a lie when repeated hundred times becomes a truth. So there are people mindwashed with these training arsenal, who agree that there indeed is money with Amway, though they clearly don’t see it but they don’t want to be called fool or lazy. And whoever quits Amway, are declared as dumb. And finally the bottomline, even a kid can tell that the king (people who agree with Amway) is naked.

You see, we grown ups sometimes accept things which we can’t see or know its not there, and vice versa. Will you choose to be "Amway smart (and naked)" or real smart and tell the fact the money promised is false and is not there at all? Make your choice.

Ramalinga Raju is one of the pioneers of the Information Technology industry in India. He is the founder and Chairman of Satyam Computer Services Ltd. 

Ramalinga Raju was born on September 16, 1954 in a family of farmers. He did his B. Com from Andhra Loyola College at Vijayawada and subsequently did his MBA from Ohio University, USA. Ramalinga Raju had a stint at Harvard too. He attended the Owner / President course at Harvard. 

After returning to India in 1977, Ramalinga Raju moved away from the traditional agriculture business and set up a spinning and weaving mill named Sri Satyam. . Thereafter he shifted to the real estate business and started a construction company called Satyam Constructions. In 1987, Ramalinga Raju founded Satyam Computer Services along with one of his brothers-in-law, DVS Raju. The company went public in 1992. With the launch of Satyam Infoway (Sify) Satyam became one of the first to enter Indian internet service market. Today, Satyam has a global presence and serves 44 Fortune 500 and over 390 multinational corporations.

Ramalinga Raju has won several awards and honors. These include Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year for Services in 1999, Dataquest IT Man of the Year in 2000, CNBC's Asian Business Leader - Corporate Citizen of the Year award in 2002 and E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2007.

The ever-soaring share prices of Satyam witnessed a sharp decline in December 2008, following a failed acquisition attempt involving Maytas, a company owned by Raju's family. In January 2009, Raju resigned as the Chairman of Satyam after he admitted to major financial wrong-doings. In Januray 2009, Raju confessed of his involvement in inflating the profits of the company for the past couple of years. The 7,800-crore fraud started with an initial cover-up for a poor quarterly performance and assumed massive proportion, with time.

"VARAM" SEARCH ENGINE

One and All,

I developed a search engine named "VARAM" for my mini project in my college.
My "VARAM" have a option to search in advanced mode and Meta search option, but most of the existing search engines doesn't have that options.


Ex:
Searching a keyword "Apple" in the existing. It gives the links of fruit Apple and Computer company Apple. But the user needs the link of Computer company only.


So, i created a advanced search, it enables the user to restrict the search to some specified area. The search website will search the keyword only in the specified area, and displays the link that matches with the user given keyword. Otherwise, the keyword not found message will be displayed.

Ex:
If the user enters the keyword as ‘Apple’ and selects the area as ‘Computer’ to search. The website displays only those links that are related to the computer based term apple.

WHAT IS SEARCH ENGINE

In Internet, a search engine is a coordinated set of programs that includes:

• A spider (also called a "crawler" or a "bot") that goes to every page or representative pages on every Web site that wants to be searchable and reads it, using hypertext links on each page to discover and read a site's other pages
• A program that creates a huge index (sometimes called a "catalog") from the pages that have been read
• A program that receives your search request, compares it to the entries in the index, and returns results to you

TYPES OF SEARCH ENGINE

CRAWLER-BASED SEARCH ENGINES

It creates their listings automatically. They "crawl" or "spider" the web, then people search through what they have found.

If the user changes his web pages, crawler-based search engines eventually find these changes, and that can affect how you are listed. Page titles, body copy and other elements all play a role.

HUMAN-POWERED DIRECTORIES

A human-powered directory, such as the Open Directory, depends on humans for its listings. You submit a short description to the directory for your entire site, or editors write one for sites they review. A search looks for matches only in the descriptions submitted.

HYBRID SEARCH ENGINES OR MIXED RESULTS

Today, it extremely common for both types of results to be presented. Usually, a hybrid search engine will favor one type of listings over another. For example, MSN Search is more likely to present human-powered listings. However, it does also present crawler-based results, especially for more obscure queries.

HOW A SEARCH ENGINE WORKS

Search engine is the popular term for an information retrieval (IR) system. While researchers and developers take a broader view of IR systems, consumers think of them more in terms of what they want the systems to do — namely search the Web, or an intranet, or a database. Actually consumers would really prefer a finding engine, rather than a search engine.

Search engines match queries against an index that they create. The index consists of the words in each document, plus pointers to their locations within the documents. This is called an inverted file. A search engine or IR system comprises four essential modules:

• A document processor
• A query processor
• A search and matching function
• A ranking capability

While users focus on "search," the search and matching function is only one of the four modules. Each of these four modules may cause the expected or unexpected results that consumers get when they use a search engine.

Way to Recovering a XP Password

1. Place your Windows XP CD in your cd-rom and start your computer
(it’s assumed here that your XP CD is bootable – as it should be - and
that you have your bios set to boot from CD)

2. Keep your eye on the screen messages for booting to your cd Typically,
it will be “Press any key to boot from cd”

3. Once you get in, the first screen will indicate that Setup is inspecting your
system and loading files.

4. When you get to the Welcome to Setup screen, press ENTER to Setup
Windows now

5. The Licensing Agreement comes next - Press F8 to accept it.

6. The next screen is the Setup screen which gives you the option to do a Repair.

It should read something like “If one of the following Windows XP installations
is damaged, Setup can try to repair it”

Use the up and down arrow keys to select your XP installation (if you only have
one, it should already be selected) and press R to begin the Repair process.

7. Let the Repair run. Setup will now check your disks and then start copying
files which can take several minutes.

8. Shortly after the Copying Files stage, you will be required to reboot.
(this will happen automatically – you will see a progress bar stating
“Your computer will reboot in 15 seconds”

9. During the reboot, do not make the mistake of “pressing any key” to
boot from the CD again! Setup will resume automatically with the standard
billboard screens and you will notice Installing Windows is highlighted.

10. Keep your eye on the lower left hand side of the screen and when you
see the Installing Devices progress bar, press SHIFT + F10. This is the
security hole! A command console will now open up giving you the potential
for wide access to your system.

11. At the prompt, type NUSRMGR.CPL and press Enter. Voila! You have
just gained graphical access to your User Accounts in the Control Panel.

12. Now simply pick the account you need to change and remove or change
your password as you prefer. If you want to log on without having to enter
your new password, you can type control userpasswords2 at the prompt and
choose to log on without being asked for password. After you’ve made your
changes close the windows, exit the command box and continue on with the
Repair (have your Product key handy).
